Science and technology is changing every industry, including skin care. SkinTech uses the latest ingredients to help you fight the aging battle. Plant stem cells are the most current and valuable asset in our arsenal to fight aging. SkinTech uses them, in addition to various peptides and Vitamin C, to turn back the clock. Below is a list of some of the ingredients that we use in our products as well as their purpose.

Acrylates – thickening and emulsifying agent.
Alfalfa leaf powder – skin conditioning.
Allantoin – moisturizing and keratolytic.
Alpha Arbutin – blocks melanin synthesis, glycoside that inhibits formation of tyrosine.

Aloe Vera – rejuvenating, healing and softening.
Adansonia Digitata Pulp (Liftiss) Extract – an extract of the fruit of the baobab tree that reduces wrinkles by firming and moisturizing the skin. It has an immediate anti-wrinkling effect as well as a radiance smoothing effect. It energizes skin and imparts a silky touch, while reducing moisture loss.
Amorphophallus Konjac Root Powder (Ultra Filling Spheres) – more effective then hylauronic alone, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles than the company’s Filling Spheres due to an improved ability to absorb water. Their unique composition of low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and konjac glucomannan give the active spheres greater capacity to absorb water and swell than the previous versions of Filling Spheres. This is due to higher hygroscopic properties of konjac. The new spheres are able to absorb 24 times more in weight and 17 times more in volume. In addition, they were shown to exhibit a water retention capability 20% higher as well as an enhanced thickness of the stratum corneum by 17%.
Apple stem cells – Malus Domestica – increases cell production and healing at cellular level, and increases longevity of cell life.
Aqua – water.
Argatensy – (Argania Spinosa Kernel Extract) is a natural ingredient extracted from the kernel of the small yellow fruits of the Argan tree. (The Argan tree grows only south of Morocco in the Argan Forest near the desert.) Argatensyl consists of a natural protein mixture that has immediate and long-term benefits for the skin.
Short-term clinical tests show there is an immediate tightening effect visible on fine lines in the crow’s feet area within 15 minutes after application. Long term clinical studies on neck wrinkles showed after 4 weeks, skin surface was smoother with less visible wrinkles.

This is useful in the control of inflammation, blood vessel tone, and permeability due to ability to inhibit certain components responsible for the inflammation response.
Chamomile – soothing.
Cyclomethicone – alcohol-free, clear, colorless, odorless, silicone liquid used as a carrying and wetting agent for personal care products. Used as a replacement for petroleum based solvents because it will not contribute to the ozone-depletion and global warming. Cyclomethicone is basically a cosmetic solvent that is soluble with the vast majority of oil-soluble products.

A hibiscus extract with bio-mimetic protection of Fibroblast Growth Factor – 2 (FGF-2) producing a powerful activation of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) and collagen synthesis. In 42 days, Linefactor™ turns the clock back 10 years by rejuvenating skin texture and density.
Dimethicone - prevents water loss by forming a hydrating barrier on the skin. It creates a subtle gloss that feels smooth and silky to the touch. It also acts as a mild water repellent by forming a protective barrier on the skin, and can fill in fine lines/wrinkles on the face, giving it a temporary “plump” look.

Licorice root – contains glycosides that lighten. It whitens by suppressing the formation of melanin, the pigment responsible for skin discoloration.
Magnesuim ascorbyl phosphate – water-soluble derivative of vitamin. It is nonirritating and more stable than vitamin C. It has the same potential as vitamin C to boost skin collagen synthesis but is effective in significantly lower concentrations. Also it is a better choice than vitamin C for people with sensitive skin and those wishing to avoid any concomitant exfoliating effects. (Most vitamin C formulas are highly acidic and therefore produce exfoliation.)
Malic acid – larger molecular structure than other AHA so less irritating, helps even skin tone and exfoliates.
Mandarin peel oil – revives dull skin.
Mannetake mushroom – anti-oxidant and rich in natural vitamins A, B, B2 and C, which promote smooth, firm, radiant and younger-looking skin. It boosts the skin’s immune system.
Marshmallow extract – anti-inflammatory, boosts the skin’s immune system, healing, diminishes dark circles by increasing circulation and helps improve barrier function.
1) It also has an inhibitory effect in hyaluronidase, which is an enzymatic action in which the hyaluronic acid and other muco-polysaccharides in the connective tissue are degraded.
2) An inhibition and reduction in hyaluronidase leads to better moisture levels in the skin as well as boosting the dermal structure and improving wound healing processes, while at the same time reducing skin aging and diminishing inflammation.

Shitake mushroom – anti-oxidant and increases cellular renewal.
Sodium ascorbyl phosphate –Vitamin C derivative, antioxidant and collagen stimulator. It is converted to vitamin C by enzymes present in the skin only upon penetration. No oxidation concerns. It therefore represents a stable precursor of vitamin C that ensures a constant delivery of vitamin C into the skin.
Sodium Hyaluronate – Sodium hyaluronate is smaller than hyaluronic acid and is able to move more freely into the deeper layers of the skin. This is an advantage since sodium hyaluronate is a powerful humectant that attracts and holds on to water, making it the ultimate skin moisturizer. This helps to hydrate skin and keep it moist and supple. Because it attracts and binds to water, it causes slight swelling. This swelling helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and gives skin a more youthful appearance. In addition, the subtle swelling increases volume, which makes skin look younger.
